1. Who this covers

This policy explains how Studio 888 handles personal information when you use our website, calculators, reports and related services.

2. What we collect

Birth details you enter: date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth (city and country, which we convert to coordinates and a time zone). These are the inputs your reading is calculated from.

Optional name: if you provide a name, it is used to calculate name-based numbers and to personalise your report.

Reflection answers: your responses to the truth questions in the calculator.

Account and purchase data: your email address, authentication details handled by our authentication provider, and purchase records (payment card details are handled by our payment provider — we never see or store full card numbers).

Usage data: basic product analytics such as which pages and features are used, so we can improve the Service.

3. Why we use it

To calculate and deliver your reading and reports, to unlock purchases you have made, to send transactional emails such as receipts and download links, to provide support, to protect the Service against misuse, and to improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your birth details or reflection answers for advertising.

4. Where your data is stored

Reflection answers are saved in your browser by default. They are only stored on our servers if you choose “Save to my account”, in which case they are stored against your account and protected by row-level access rules so only you can read them.

Birth details are also kept in your browser so you do not have to re-enter them between reports, and are stored with your account or purchase where needed to regenerate a report you paid for.

Our infrastructure, database, authentication and email delivery are provided by third-party processors who host data on our behalf.

5. Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf — hosting and database, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, and product analytics — and only as needed to run the Service. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.

If you generate a share link for a report, anyone with that link (and password, if you set one) can view the shared report until it expires or you revoke it. You control whether to create or share those links.

6. Retention

We keep account, purchase and report data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide access to what you bought, and afterwards only as long as required for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. Locally stored data stays in your browser until you clear it.

7. Your choices and deletion

You can delete your reflection answers at any time from the calculator — this clears them from this browser and, if you saved them, from your account.

You can clear your saved birth details from your browser at any time.

You can ask us to delete your account and associated data, or request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, using the contact options on this website. Deleting data may end your access to previously purchased reports.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access to stored data is restricted by account-level access rules. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and to limit who can access it.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
